A collaboration with visual artist Synthcoder.
The audio-visual work mimics the growth of the mold Physarum Polycephalum and how it creates networks of nutrient-channeling tubes. A custom shader written in HLSL, implemented in Unreal with support of up to 3 distinct “species” at a time. Realtime audio reactive behaviour through multiplying parameters with frequency analysis values. A movement of growth and decay.
